Fabulous furniture items & more will be delivered to you free of charge. This free shipping offer includes many of the unique products imported from around the world.
Most of our items ship within 5-7 business days, many of which leave our warehouses sooner. Unique, Made To Order, international, or unusually larger items may require more time (lead times). If your item is no longer in stock or will take longer than 14 business days to ship, you will be contacted by Customer Service before your order is processed to confirm your acceptance of shipping time. We make every effort to ship your products quickly and safely. In the event something out of our control delays your order, you will be contacted.
Please be advised: Free shipping covers standard delivery only. If your package is larger and you would like it delivered inside of your home, you can upgrade to White Glove delivery for an extra charge.
Items delivered with White Glove delivery includes the item being brought into the threshold of your home up to 2 flights of stairs, placed where you would like, light assembly & set up, and the removal of all packaging materials. Extra flights will incur an extra charge to be covered by the customer. You will be notified if such charges are necessary.
Unusually shaped, extra large items, or special custom orders may incur extra charges and require special instructions. If so, you will be contacted by customer service before your order is completely processed.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & DELIVERY
At this time we do not offer international shipping or shipping to Canada via our website. If you are interested in delivery to Canada, special arrangements can be made for orders over $500. Please contact us for more information as additional shipping charges, taxes and duties would apply. Note that "free shipping" items do not ship for free outside the 48 contiguous states.
For orders within the contiguous 48 US states, Vanity Mirror Co. provides FREE SHIPPING by either common carrier for large freight items, Fedex and UPS depending on the details of the order.
Please note that shipping only provides curbside service unless otherwise noted or additional service is offered via promotion. Service bringing large items into your home is available at an upcharge, but not including the costs of shipping which Vanity Mirror Co. will cover.
Please note all white glove shipments are by appointment only. You will receive a phone call 48 hours prior to delivery to set up a mutually convenient time and date for delivery. Please note that all delivery attempts will be made only once. Additional delivery attempts are subject to a $60 additional delivery surcharge. If delivery cannot be made within 7 business days after a courtesy phone call has been made, an additional $20 per day will be assessed for local storage charges. If you require a specific date and time for delivery, a $125 time stop surcharge will be added to your order.
Shipping to HI, AK and PR will incur an additional $300 additional shipping surcharge. Please note we will have to assess these orders manually for larger freight items as the additional charged may exceed $300.
Our handling times vary by product. Each item is carefully packed and crated. Our handling times vary between 1 to 2 weeks. Items that are not in stock or imported may have a lead time of up to 12-16 weeks or more. This information can be viewed on the product detail page as each item has a different handling time.
The shipping time it takes to arrive to your home after item leaves our warehouse is an additional 2-3 weeks depending on your proximity to our various warehouse locations. A tracking ID will be emailed to you on the day your order leaves our warehouse so that you may track the package yourself.
Expedited shipping is available on select items. Please contact our customer service to inquire about expediting a specific order.
On certain occasions, we can expedite within 2-3 business days for an up-charge on large freighted items. Please call us or email us at cs@VanityMirror.co for more details.
Lead Times and Delivery:
Vanity Mirror Co. does everything possible to assure a smooth and prompt delivery of your order. However, be aware and consider that there are circumstances out of our control that may arise and result in a delay in the production or delivery of your items. We do our best to give accurate lead times for each furniture manufacturer but estimated lead times are not a guarantee of a specific delivery date. We welcome your inquiries as the estimated delivery time approaches and we can follow up to give you a more specific idea of your ship date at that time. Also note that shipping time for freight items (this includes furniture, large light fixtures and some rugs) is approximately 2-3 weeks from the time that the item(s) are scheduled for pickup from our manufacturer. We act as your liaison to best assist you in a prompt delivery but again, there are variables that are out of our control as we are considered a third party.
Most carriers schedule deliveries Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Freight companies will contact you at least 48 hours prior to the delivery to schedule a delivery date and time frame (typically 2-4 hour blocks) that works for you. If you need to reschedule the delivery with our carrier, please contact them as soon as possible so as not to incur any charges for missed delivery appointments. If your scheduled appointment is missed, you will be charged a delivery trip fee. Please do not arrange for the item/items to be delivered when no one is home to receive them. If the freight company contacts you to make an appointment for delivery and you are unable to accept the delivery for any period of time, you are subject to storage fees that the freight company will charge for storing your item.
Types of Delivery:
For standard freight delivery, our shippers deliver furniture to your curbside.
Premium in-home delivery (white glove delivery) is available with an upcharge for most items if you would like the item placed inside the threshold of your home or in a particular room up to 2 flights of stairs with all packing materials discarded.
Receiving the Incorrect Item:
If for any reason your custom furniture piece does not arrive with the specifications that you selected when ordering, Vanity Mirror Co. reserves the right to have the item or items replaced and reshipped at no additional charge to you. You should contact us immediately if this occurs so that we can get the replacement in the works as soon as possible.
Please contact us for an immediate response. We strive to return all emails within 1-2 business days.
Returns & Exchanges
It is our goal to offer the finest products in the world right here on VanityMirror.co. However we know that for whatever reason, sometimes just don't work out as planned. If you aren't satisfied with your purchase, let us know within 48 hours of receiving your item and we'll make every effort to make things right. All claims filed after 48 hours will not approved.
If for any reason you need to return an item with free shipping, the refund you receive will be for the item price minus the standard shipping cost. Standard shipping costs are based on the weight of the items. Items are subject to a 25% restocking fee. If you opt to exchange your free shipping purchase for another item that also had free shipping, a standard shipping charge will be added to cover our costs. The only exception to this policy is if an item received is defective, in which case it will be replaced with no additional shipping fees. If exchanging a free shipping item for a standard shipping product, you will be charged our regular shipping cost.
Eligible Items for Return
Items must be returned in their original packaging in unused condition. Soiled/used items will be refused and returned to you at your expense. Returns on eligible rugs, and mirrors that are not defective will incur a 25% restocking fee. Refunds are issued in the original payment form and price, less shipping and handling, re-stocking fees, gift-wrap and return shipping charges. Standard shipping charges will apply for all "free shipped" non-defective items.
Non-eligible Items for Return
Fabric, wallpaper, light fixtures, custom, "Made To Order" or personalized items, final sale items.
Orders may be cancelled up to 24 hours after purchase. After this period, orders are subject to to the 25% restocking fee.
We make every effort to provide the perfect service but sometimes things happen that are outside of our control. Unfortunately, damage can occur during shipping. We will replace items that arrived to you damaged; damage claims must be received within 48 hours of item arriving. Please let us know immediately by phone or email and share with us the following information:
1. Digital snapshots of the damaged product and and also the packaging/ boxes so that we can understand how the damage happened and prevent future items from incurring similar damages. All images are mandatory for processing a damage claim. Damage claims without documented images unfortunately will not be reviewed.
2. Share with us the reason for return as it relates to shipping damages or manufacturing defect. Any additional details that may help us understand the problem are also helpful and welcomed.
Upon delivery, please take time to inspect all freight shipped furniture items, light fixtures and mirrors carefully for any damage that may have occurred in transit and contact us immediately. Claims against damaged items must be made within 48 Hours. Claims made after 48 Hours cannot be accepted. Furniture items must be carefully inspected BEFORE you sign for the delivery.
When Damages Occur During Freight Delivery
While we do our utmost to ensure your items arrive in a timely manner and in perfect condition, there are some things that are beyond our control.
We would love to be able to say that damage never occurs during transit, but unfortunately that is not always the case.
Our freight carriers handle your pieces with great care but it is important to understand that from time to time damages do occur. If your piece arrives damaged, the freight company has the right to have the piece repaired and brought back to the manufacturer's standards at their expense. They do this by sending the piece to a furniture medic or back to the manufacturer for repair. If the freight carrier determines the piece can not be repaired, you have the right to be reimbursed for your purchase or have another piece rushed at no additional charge and shipped out to you as soon as possible.
Please be sure to thoroughly inspect your item for damages upon delivery and refuse a damaged product or write damaged on the delivery slip/receipt. This is an important step to quickly resolving such an event. Thank you!
